Saturday the 29th of September 2019 was a memorable day for me. I was appointed as the Editor of the Heritage Roses New Zealand Journal. I am humbled to hold this honourable position for next three years.
Heritage Roses New Zealand Inc (HRNZI) published the first issue of this prestigious journal in August 1980. Since then, it has continuously been published on quarterly basis by the society for the benefit of rose loving members in New Zealand and across the world. The quality of the journal has been tremendously improved over last forty years and it is a much loved journal by its readers. I will be following the time honoured traditions of the past editors who always left a lasting legacy on conserving heritage roses in New Zealand.
